Tonight at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California, the 74th Emmy Awards will begin. Kenan Thompson of Saturday Night Live will preside over the presentation recognizing the finest television programs and performances of the year, which airs on NBC at 8 p.m. EST. The celebrities will change into their best evening attire for the throngs of cameras on the red carpet before all of the awards are given out.
