The 2022 Academy Museum Gala on Saturday night was a star-studded event. Before the ceremony, a long list of renowned celebrities like Jodie Turner-Smith, Kaia Gerber, Julia Roberts, Jessica Chastain, and others strolled the red carpet.
George Clooney and Amal Clooney were also in the vicinity. In their complementing formal attire, the power couple struck a sophisticated tone. Amal made the choice of a strapless green silk-tulle gown with flowing and ruffles, while George opted for a dapper black tuxedo.
One of the trendiest fashion labels right now, Del Core, created Amal’s flowing dress for its resort 2023 collection. A-listers Tessa Thompson, Lily James, and Jennifer Lawrence have all sported the brand’s elegant, romantic creations since it was founded in 2020 by designer Daniel Del Core, a former Gucci designer. It was a particularly daring decision for Amal, who favors antique clothing or handmade designs from illustrious fashion firms like Richard Quinn or Oscar de la Renta. She certainly still has her finger on the fashion pulse as seen by her ethereal look over the weekend.
