Zendaya just made history as the youngest recipient of the CFDA Fashion Icon Award. The actress attended the New York City ceremony in a red Vera Wang crop top and skirt with Bulgari diamonds.
Thanks her her stylist Law Roach – the duo have consistently gone all out creating a look to reflect the honor. She’s been known to wear colourful, vintage Versace one minute and a more sleek, minimal Alaïa dress the next.
Living up to her fashion status quo Zendaya wore a red hot custom Vera Wang design. Pairing the tiered, peplum-style skirt with an ab-revealing crop top – she accessorized with a statement necklace and bracelet by Bulgari.
Elegant as ever, these days crop tops have become synonymous with the Y2K fashion. When it comes down to her perfect poses, Zendaya has revealed it involves a whole lot of practice – speaking to InStyle for its November issue about perfecting her red carpet poses. Does she practice? “Sometimes I do, actually,” she said. “When I put on an outfit, I will occasionally look at it in the mirror and see what poses work with the silhouette. I do think a little bit about that.”
