Zendaya Takes A Bow To Queen Bey With Her Jaw-Dropping Vintage Versace Dress

We all need a stylist like Law Roach! Zendaya’s stylist has been on a show-stopping journey with the Emmy winner. In fact Zendaya has pulled off a series of smash-hit fashion moments this year – literally unmoved by the phygital format that red carpet events and awards ceremonies have been forced to adopt as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Few months after her astonishing sunshine-yellow Valentino look for the Oscars, Zendaya is back with another fashion hit. The Euphoria star and Emmy winner while attending the 2021 BET Awards wore an archival Versace look that pays homage to the dress Beyoncé wore to the 2003 ceremony.

Although’s  Bey’s version of the vintage dress from Donatella Versace’s spring/summer 2003 show was a shortened mini dress with a pleated, ultra-high hem which Beyonce wore to the BET Awards stage for her very first solo performance. Zendaya’s version has a flowy,  full-length dress with a daring leg slit.

Both versions boast a rich purple hue, lime green accents, and revealing cutouts around the torso.

Zendaya paying homage to Queen Bey at the very same awards ceremony. In an IG post revealing her outfit, captioned her IG post “Crazy in love” as her caption – a nod to the superstar’s early solo hit.

She completed her look with custom dyed Stuart Weitzman Nudist strappy, ’90s-esque sandals and 31 carats of Bulgari high jewelry.

For Hair, Kim Kimble was all hands on deck with a sleek, middle-parted ponytail – a gleaming alternative to the flowing mermaid ’do the star chose for the Oscars.

Law Roach taking to his Instagram captioned his post: “Get you a stylist with an ARCHIVE!!!! [sic]” with a slow motion video of Zendaya strutting in full glam.
