Zendaya prefers vintage clothes on the red carpet. The actor hasn’t shied away from a vintage fashion moment, whether it was wearing the same purple Versace gown as Beyoncé to the BET Awards in 2003 or channeling mid-century romance in a 1956 Balmain Couture gown at the NAACP Image Awards. And her most recent ensemble is a classic. The actor’s vintage red-carpet ensembles are never anything short than spectacular, thanks to her lifelong relationship with stylist Law Roach.

The 25-year-old Euphoria actor wore a vintage Bob Mackie gown to this year’s Time 100 Gala in New York City – the designer is behind some of Cher’s most memorable looks. The one-of-a-kind piece, which dates from the autumn/winter 1998 collection, is made up of green and black velvet and silk panels that wrap around the torso. Zendaya had smooth, straight hair and teal eyeshadow to complement the outfit, which she accessorized with an elegant diamond necklace and matching earrings.
