Hailey Bieber channeled her edgier side for her latest red carpet dress.
Last night in Los Angeles, the model and Saint Laurent ambassador attended the second annual Academy Museum Gala dressed in a gown right out of the fashion brand’s spring/summer 2023 collection. The dark brown, strapless dress included a twisting bandeau-style top, a torso cutout, and ruched accents at the column skirt’s waist.
Including a vintage necklace from 1955 and a hexagon ring, Bieber accented the gown with a set of citrine jewelry by Tiffany & Co. She had a nude-pink lip and rosy cheeks for her makeup, and she wore her brunette hair straight with a middle split.
There were numerous skin-baring silhouettes on the autumn/winter 2022 runways in February. Off-White showcased knitwear with circular cut-outs all over them, while designers like Nensi Dojaka, Supriya Lele, and Christopher Kane displayed chic dresses with hip cut-outs. And by bringing it to the red carpet and giving it a formal feel, Bieber showed that the provocative aesthetic can actually be quite refined and timeless-looking. The style was traditional yet had Bieber’s trademark unexpectedly cool edge.
Being a brand ambassador—during Paris Fashion Week last month, the founder of Rhode attended the Saint Laurent show. She wore a fuschia outfit—a micro miniskirt and a long-sleeved shirt with structured shoulders, voluminous sleeves, and a collar with huge gold buttons—for the occasion, channeling the ’80s power suit.She completed the appearance with black sunglasses, circular hoop earrings, sleek black heels with gold embellishments, and gold cuff bracelets. She also used complementary colors in her glam ensemble, which included a glossed rosy lip and sparkling pink eye shadow.
