Gucci’s fall 2022 ready-to-wear show featured a number of notable celebrity appearances, including one by Rihanna, as well as the unveiling of the brand’s much awaited Adidas collaboration. The current couple attended the Italian showcase alongside Jodie Turner-Smith and Joshua Jackson, Daisy Edgar-Jones and Jared Leto, and dressed up for the “Exquisite” theme.
RiRi flaunted her statement pregnancy style. The singer wore a black lace crop top and leggings with a purple furry coat. She looked gorgeous in a gold headpiece.
Her sparkling chainmail headgear, which framed her Fenty glossed pout, was the show-stopper. This is a woman who makes fantastic headwear. At the 2014 CFDA Awards, she accepted the Fashion Icon Award in a Swarovski-studded “naked” Adam Selman gown with a matching headpiece that has been embedded in the public consciousness. We all know she never does things half-heartedly. And she had no intention of letting the peacocks of Milano overshadow her.
She posed with boyfriend A$AP Rocky, who was dressed in a black tracksuit with yellow gloves and a Gucci logo-emblazoned briefcase. Later that evening, Rihanna was photographed in a black little dress and the same coat. She had her hair down in curls and wore purple eyeshadow that matched her outerwear perfectly.
While the show’s famous guests generated a lot of interest, the collection itself had its own impact thanks to the unveiling of Gucci’s Adidas collaboration. Models walked the runway in a hybrid tracksuit-formal suit with Adidas’ well-known stripe motif, as well as accessories like hats, gloves, and headscarves, that merged Gucci and Adidas’ design styles.
Gucci and Adidas’ logos were combined for the pieces, with Adidas’ trefoil logo reinterpreted with “Gucci” written underneath.
