Rihanna and boyfriend A$AP Rocky are expecting their first child. She revealed the news in typically sensational style, stepping out for a walk in the snow at the rapper’s home neighborhood of Harlem in New York City on Friday, letting her $8000 pink vintage Chanel coat fall open to expose her bare baby bump.
This will be the first child for the couple. In March 2020 she told British Vogue that within 10 years “I’ll have kids — three or four of ’em” even if she hadn’t found Mr. Right yet.
“I feel like society makes me want to feel like, ‘Oh, you got it wrong…’ They diminish you as a mother if there’s not a dad in your kids’ lives,” she said. “But the only thing that matters is happiness, that’s the only healthy relationship between a parent and a child. That’s the only thing that can raise a child truly, is love.”
While revealing her pregnancy, Rihanna made no effort hiding her tummy – she opted for no shirt under her colorful jacket, though temperatures in the city dipped down to 24 degrees Fahrenheit that day. However Rih did accessorize with a large glitzy body chain that hung over her bump, ensuring all eyes were on her growing stomach.
Their bundle of joy joins a roster of celebrity offspring arriving imminently. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Kylie Jenner and Jennifer Lawrence are all expecting, while Cardi B welcomed her second child in September.
