The MET Gala in 2022, often known as the First Monday in May, will take place once more! The glamorous event returns to its customary time slot this year after being postponed in 2020 and held in September last year. A-list celebrities will line the red carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in honor of the museum’s new show, In America: An Anthology of Fashion, which will explore American fashion. Bill Blass, Brooks Brothers, Lloyd Kiva New, and other designers’ work will be on exhibit in 13 of the museum’s American period rooms.
On the red carpet, well-dressed celebs will try their best to follow the Gilded Glamour, White Tie dress code, which encourages them to approach late-nineteenth-century clothes with a contemporary mindset. Given that the step and repeat is one of the most photographed events on the planet, you can bet that the many actors, models, singers, and designers in attendance will be dressed to impress this evening. After all, the Met Gala has a long history of producing spectacular ensembles that are watched across the world, and this year will be no different. Keep an open mind and be ready for anything.
Who is on the guest list for the evening? Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Regina King, and Lin-Manuel Miranda are the official co-chairs this year, but you’ll have to wait and see who else joins them on the Met steps. So be sure to come back to this site throughout the night to see all of your favorite stars and their amazing Met Gala red carpet looks — you won’t want to miss them!Scroll down to see every Met Gala red carpet look from 2022.
