On Sunday morning, a whole portion of Wall Street was sealed to let spectators into the venue inside the New York Stock Exchange for Balenciaga’s first New York presentation in 19 years (and first under creative director Demna). As the celebrities arrived one by one, it became clear that this was not your typical VIP list.
Attendees included Demna’s friend and partner Kanye West. Other A-lister Alexa Demie, Christine Quinn (from Selling Sunset), Christine Chiu and Jamie Xie (from Bling Empire), Megan thee Stallion (for the first time), and Mayor Eric Adams are among the cast members.
Alexis Stone, who recently dressed up as Mrs. Doubtfire for Balenciaga’s Paris show, sported a blonde beehive wig and her famed bosoms in a Dolly Parton outfit. Guests included fashion designers Marc Jacobs and Vera Wang, singers Pharrell Williams, Offset, and J Balvin, nightlife stars Susanne Bartsch and Amanda Lepore.
