At a Bottega Veneta dinner given at The Strand 2 nights ago, Bella Hadid demonstrated her passion for reading. I guess, sort of. She wasn’t carrying a specific book, but rather she was sporting a loose shredded denim dress, solid square-toe black boots, a bicep bracelet, and a leather purse bearing The Strand’s name as she exited the event at the venerable New York bookshop Friday night. The supple item, which is available in both yellow and black, is the result of a partnership between the Italian House and the downtown literary establishment.
Hadid has always had a passion for literature. The supermodel left a few years ago with Stephen King’s book The Outsider as her reading material. The 560 page hardback book was shown beside a pair of lime green knit gloves and a Louis Vuitton duffel bag with a cherry pattern designed by Murakami while she was in the air.
