With Bella Hadid’s extensive collection that includes rare Jean Paul Gaultier and ’80s Chanel, she is the perfect poster girl for vintage. It is therefore not surprising that the model chose to wear yet another vintage item when she attended an event for the non-alcoholic beverage manufacturer Kin Euphorics over the weekend.

Hadid wore a hot pink printed Roberto Cavalli dress with a corseted bodice and handkerchief hem, which was a typical early 2000s detail. The outfit was purchased from Treasures Of NYC. She combined the iconic rose heels from Loewe’s spring/summer 2022 collection with the Cavalli rose pattern motif to give the ensemble a contemporary touch.

As a result of its Y2K-friendly designs and slinky curves, vintage Cavalli has recently seen something of a rebirth. Hadid has worn it before. The model donned a vintage Cavalli outfit to her closest friend Lauren Perez’s wedding last year (specifically, a feather-printed dress from the designer’s autumn/winter 2001 collection), and she wore a crimson cut-out dress from the brand’s spring/summer 2005 collection at the Cannes Film Festival in 2019.

The model later appeared in a pink gingham dress from Comme des Garçons’ spring/summer 1997 collection, which was once again purchased from Aralda Vintage. Hadid’s most recent vintage Cavalli piece isn’t her only vintage ensemble from the weekend. This summer, if you’re looking for some retro inspiration, the Bellla Hadid is your go to.
