Blake Lively has continued to embrace the method dressing trend down to the manis. Check out her after party look to the Deadpool and Wolverine, she subtly channeled her It Ends With Us character with a Balmain 3D rose dress and matching mani.
And with the promotional tour in full bloom, Lively has been sporting quite a number of colorful, flower-adorned outfits with, of course, floral manicures. On July 31, Lively’s nail artist, Elle Gerstein, created an intricate “micro garden” manicure for her press day outfits by NYC designer Dauphinette.
Lively’s manicure featured medium-length almond nails, with Gerstein applying Essie Gel Couture in Chiffon the Move for a garden backdrop. For intricate florals, Essie Gel Couture in All Checkered Out, Blush Jelly, and Nail Art Studio polish mix were used, while Off Tropic and Willow in the Wind polish were used for leaves.
Another celebration of flower included delicate watercolour nail art. Set on a translucent and neutral base, Gerstein used a gel couture matte top coat to soak in the hand painted, delicate watercolor floral petals& leaves.
Finally the textured florals mani that mimicked the embroidery on Lively’s Oscar de la Renta dress. Every single manicure celebrated the exquisite beauty of flowers, with each design more stunning than the last.
