For the 2023 MET Gala which honors Karl Lagerfeld, Nicole Kidman wore a vintage Chanel Haute Couture gown from 2004 which she wore in an iconic Chanel No. 5 commercial directed by Baz Luhrmann.
According to Vogue, the budget for the ad was $33 million and the costumes were designed by Lagerfeld. The ethereal dress comprised of pink silk tulle (with a four-meter train in circumference) and embellished with over 3,000 silver crystals and sequins, 250 pink ostrich feathers, and other trimmings.
Accompanied by husband Keith Urban, he opted for a classic black tux and white dress shirt.
