The word “influencer” is one of the most used word in the world of social media. So, who’s an influencer? According to Influencer Marketing Hub an influencer is someone who has “the power to affect the purchasing decisions of others because of his or her authority, knowledge, position or relationship with his or her audience.
According to her
1. You need to be mobile
“I don’t know if anyone has told you but you need to be mobile, you need to be able to move from one place to another to do shoots, pick stuff for PR”
“If you have parents that don’t allow you to move, you have to chill or wait till you gain a level an independence from your experience.”
2. You need to be confidence
“You’re going to meet people, your going to feel scared about what people may say, but you don’t have to be overly confident”
3. You don’t need a camera
“Some people might tell you; you need a photo camera to look all that serious but it isn’t compulsory – although, most you see influencers with camera’s but you don’t.”
4. You definitely need a phone
A very good phone is essential in becoming an influencer.
“You might have to use up your money to get one, but it’s worth it. I save an got a good phone, was using my sister’s phone and was able to save up to iPhone 7 plus.”
Although she kept complaining, it was worth it at the end. If you don’t have any saving to get a good phone you can be friends with someone that does or a relation.”
“A very good phone is what you see to take picture, videos and brands check out the quality of content you put out because they want to put that on their page, you represent the brand and publc so you need to be top notch”
5. Be Dynamic
“You need to switch things up “If your this kind of person that always in jeans, sometimes you need to switch things up with your dress sense, hairstyles etc.”
6. Time Management is Key
Diana tags influencing a give and take thing. She emphasizes on consistency and removing the mindset of making money quick.
