Katie Holmes whose off-duty wardrobe speaks of itself has announced a new fashion collaboration with A.P.C. completely topless. “I have loved [A.P.C.] since I discovered it. The simplicity of design is born out of sophisticated consistency to details and form,” Holmes, who has shopped the brand since the ’90s, said in the press release.

Photographed by Oliver Hadlee Pearch, the rest of the campaign look included a quilted black leather handbag over her shoulder, while wearing baggy, floor-skimming jeans.

In another photo from the collection, the director is seen wrapped in a one-of-a-kind quilt in shades of blue, green, pink, and white, which was designed by her mother, Kathleen Stothers-Holmes. “APC is a beautiful French brand and one that I have loved since I discovered it,” she said. “[It] is not only elegant in life, but I have also used it many times for costumes in film as its classic design is timeless.”

Holmes aimed to create a versatile wardrobe that allowed for mixing and matching pieces to create various day and night looks, effortlessly blending professional and playful styles. Selecting 12 feminine pieces from the brand’s archive, Holmes worked with the team to create a collection of stylish accessories, with the goal of offering shoppers a versatile wardrobe. “Mix and match these pieces to create a variety of looks that suit your unique style,” she advised.
