With the theme of Netflix’s Lights Camera Naija 2023 gala set as flamboyantly and glamorously Nigerian, we expected to see a lot of majestic cultural Nigerian looks, but a sculptural chapeau was least expected.
Media personality Folu Storms ensured to steal the show with a sculptural fascinator from Christine’s atelier millinery. The dramatic headpiece covered her face, forming a bow at the back. For glam, Folu went for a complementary doll lash to accent her eyes.
Although Folu’s devoré was a statement piece in and of itself, she stuck to her style, completing the look with a black ipele (shawl). Wearing her braids in a sleek bun, the royal blue eyeliner and cat eyes beautifully amplified her look. Accessories included maximalist earrings and a beaded top-handle bag.
