I take it you thought Zendaya’s outfit inspired by tennis was complete for the Challengers press tour?Think again. Zendaya and her image consultant, Law Roach, decided to save their most impactful look for the final stop of the Challengers press tour. She donned a stunning black and white ball gown, reminiscent of a 1998 photo series featuring tennis legends Venus and Serena Williams.

Carolina Herrera’s creative director, Wes Gordon, successfully replicated the champion-worthy ball gown featuring wide vertical strips of black and white, creating a waist-snatching bodice and voluminous skirt. The Williams sisters wore shoulder-length white beads in their hair, a signature style on court in the ’90s and early ’00s, with hairstylists Kim Kimble and Ursula Stephen crafting the wig.

On Instagram, Roach expressed gratitude to Carolina Herrera creative director Wes Gordon for creating the replica gown, calling it “An ode to the GREATS” and tagging Venus and Serena Williams. He added, “We thank you for all you have done!
