Zendaya has yet again added another archive gem to her already impressive red-carpet checklist. She recently won the CFDA Fashion Icon – the youngest ever to win such award, and for annual football ceremony, Ballon D’Or, in Paris on 29 November, the 25-year-old actress attended wearing a vintage Roberto Cavalli autumn/winter 2000 dress.
With a little touch from the brand’s current creative director, Fausto Puglisi – the Law Roach collaboration had intricate gold detailing replicating a spinal cord. Zendaya paired the formfitting black crepe de chine dress with versize gold hoop earrings by Jennifer Fisher.
The Spider-Man actor attended the awards ceremony held at Theatre du Chatelet with her beau Tom Holland. This marks their first official red-carpet appearance together.
Many fans were quick to point out that Zendaya’s dress, specifically its spine detailing is similar to “Spider-Man” villain Doctor Octopus (also known as Doc Ock) and his metal arms that come out of his back.
