During Sunday night’s Toronto International Film Festival, Sophie Turner appeared as if she had just stepped out of a fairy tale.
The Game of Thrones actress and her husband Joe Jonas arrived for the Devotion premiere in Toronto wearing myriad red carpet ensembles. Turner looked stunning in a vibrant floor-length gown with tiny spaghetti straps and silky petals in a variety of pastel colors, including warm peach, light blue, and powder pink.
The show-stopping outfit scarcely needed any accessories. Turner kept it simple, donning simply diamond drop earrings, her wedding band, and her engagement ring, and matching her glam to the rose tones of the dress. The actress got a glossy pink lip and dusty pink eye and cheek makeup. In contrast, her flaming red hair, which was fashioned in elegant waves to give her the appearance of an ethereal mermaid, was just as eye-catching as her clothing.
On the carpet, Jonas gave his wife a warm embrace while sporting an ultra-chic black velvet jacket fastened with a diamond cluster brooch. The garment’s deep V-neckline exposed his bare chest and a long silver chain necklace with tiny round diamonds. He paired the blazer with a pair of wide-leg, matching black pants that were split in half at the ankles, as well as shiny, square-toed black dress shoes.
Devotion, a movie starring Jonas, is about two American Navy fighter pilots who engage in one of the most severe fights of the Korean War in the early 1950s. The original tale was written by Adam Makos in the book with the same name, and J.D. Dillard adapted it for the big screen.
Turner and Jonas made their first combined red carpet appearance Friday night after the birth of their second daughter in July. Since her birth, the couple has maintained a low profile and has not yet disclosed the child’s name. On a vacation to Miami last month to commemorate the Jonas Brother singer’s 33rd birthday, they were spotted strolling about with their 1-year-old daughter Willa.
