Last night, Selena Gomez celebrated her cosmetics company, Rare Beauty, in a sexy-meets-corporate fashion.
Selena wore a structured jacket dress from Alexander McQueen’s autumn/winter 2022 collection and gold hoop earrings by Monica Vinader for the introduction of a new matte lipstick and liner collection in her Rare Beauty range—a vegan and cruelty-free line of make-up and cosmetics. For the autumn/winter 2022 season, designers brought power shoulders back into fashion – the angular wool-mohair jacket had padded shoulders, peaked lapels, a flourish of cut lacquered lace on one side, and a distinctive asymmetric design.

Gomez kept her hair straight and down while sporting her go-to black winged liner and red lip.
Kate Young, Selena’s stylist, who has a great eye for fine tailoring – has also made sharp suits a hallmark for another of her clients, Dakota Johnson, who has previously supported brands including Saint Laurent, Area, Patou, and Magda Butrym.

Prior to the official launch on July 7, Gomez released a video from the occasion on her Instagram Story to thank her followers and inform them that they could only purchase them online for a single day. The singer, actor, and businesswoman runs her mental health brand, Wondermind, in addition to operating Rare Beauty and the crime-comedy series Only Murders in the Building.
