Rihanna recently discussed her eagerly awaited Super Bowl halftime show scheduled for next year for the first time.

The “Umbrella” singer is shown in a new video speaking candidly to a TMZ reporter about the upcoming performance and dropping hints about who might join her onstage.

Rihanna admits, “I’m nervous, but I’m also excited.”

The pop diva gives the camera a peace sign and responds, “Maybe, girl,” when the reporter inquires as to if boyfriend A$AP Rocky will be the surprise visitor.

After a lengthy absence to concentrate on her companies, Savage x Fenty and Fenty Beauty, Rihanna will make her music debut at the halftime show. Having dropped Anti in 2016, it has also been six years since she last put out an album.

The State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, will host the 2023 Super Bowl on Sunday, February 12, 2023.

Through an Instagram post from last month, Rihanna announced that she would perform at the halftime show. She may be seen holding an NFL football in the post’s accompanying picture. She merely added a period to the caption.

The NFL and Roc Nation were in contact with the star about headlining the massive performance, according to the initial TMZ report. In addition, the source listed all of the potential singers who might appear with her on stage, which essentially includes everyone with whom she has ever worked on music.

The “Diamonds” singer initially turned down the chance to perform at the halftime show years ago due to the NFL’s treatment of player Colin Kaepernick, she claimed in a 2019 interview.
