The Princess of Wales made a stunning return to the 2023 BAFTAs despite only attending four times since her wedding in 2011.
Kate continued her tradition of wearing white to the prestigious event and recycling items from her extensive personal collection for the 2023 ceremony, which was held at the Royal Festival Hall. Kate appeared at the Southbank Centre in the same one-shouldered Alexander McQueen gown she wore to the 2019 ceremony, though with cascading draping added at the shoulder.
A pair of shoulder-length gloves further enhance the spectacular appearance of the monochromatic ensemble. Kate completed the ensemble with a set of elaborate drop earrings made of rose-gold petals and a rectangular black clutch that matched the gloves. While, William who has presided over the British Academy of Film and Television Arts since 2010 wore a standard tuxedo that featured a velvet piece, black suit pants, a white shirt, and a black bow tie.
The Cambridges followed the evening’s prescribed dress code encouraging sustainability for their last attendance at the prestigious awards presentation, all the way back in 2020. Kate wore an Alexander McQueen outfit in white and gold that she had previously worn in 2012. She completed the look with gold Jimmy Choo pumps, an Anya Hindmarch purse, a mother of pearl necklace from Van Cleef & Arpels, and matching earrings.
