Thanks to Chanel, Michelle Yeoh delivered feminine glitz to the 2023 Oscars Nominees Luncheon. The actor, who received several nods for her stirring turn in Everything Everywhere At Once, also got the awards season started with a victory at the Golden Globes for Best Actress.
She is also up for Best Actress at the Oscars, also known as the Academy Awards, for her work in the science fiction drama “Everything Everywhere All at Once.”
Yeoh attended the event in a Chanel ensemble from the brand’s Métiers d’art 2023 collection, walking the red carpet at The Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills. Her outfit, created by design director Virginie Viard, had a “dream” tweed jacket and wide-leg pants in contrasting shades of black, pink, and green. Along with shimmering silver “CC” medallion button closures, the outfit also included thin pastel sequined lapels for a touch of glitter.
Last week Yeoh joined her acting colleagues in London for the Critics’ Circle Awards wearing a dramatic “exploding” trench coat with enormous tulle sleeves from Alexander McQueen’s spring/summer 2023 collection.
