The internet is having a field day owing to fashion, with Kim Kardashian donning a scorching hot Balenciaga gown and Mariah Carey wearing Tom Ford in her pool.
The “Vision of Love” singer went live on Instagram today, commemorating the 17th anniversary of her album “The Emancipation of Mimi” and her new single with Latto, “Big Energy” remix. Monroe Cannon, her daughter, also made an appearance.
Mariah honored the momentous occasion by swimming in her pool while dressed to the nines. It wasn’t just any dress, either; it was a custom sequined Tom Ford gown from the spring/summer 2022 season. The visuals are just as magnificent as you can expect.
Mariah Carey has always admired Ford’s work, as fans would know. During Tom’s era-defining time as Gucci’s creative director, the artist donned an LBD and heels in her 1997 music video for “Honey.”
Her 20-minute Instagram Live (which you can watch again on her website) shows her talking with fans, discussing her 2005 album, which she called “one of her favorites ever,” and making sure her team didn’t record her from her “bad side.”
