At the Hollywood premiere of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever on October 26, the cast was present in force. Rihanna arrived in an eccentric Rick Owens ensemble, and Letitia Wright gave a moving tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman by wearing an embellished Alexander McQueen blazer that mimicked the Givenchy haute couture suit Boseman wore to the 2018 Oscars.
The actress Lupita Nyong’o, who plays the character Nakia in the movie, shone brightly in a twisted white one-shoulder dress by Balmain that she accessorized with a detailed shell headpiece and purple pumps. Lupita had first dibs on De Beers’ diamond jewelry to wear to the event since she is the brand’s new global ambassador. She wore a suite of diamond rings, earrings, and bracelets for the event.
The actor joined her Jimmy Kimmel Live co-stars earlier in the day while donning a crystal-encrusted Cinq à Sept jacket with a corseted bustier, chic wide-leg pants, platforms, and square-frame sunglasses. She also wore a striking cobalt blue Bach Mai suit with a Yuzefi purse to a press conference on October 25.
