Since her Chromatica tour ended, Lady Gaga has been maintaining a quiet profile, but during her opulent LA party, the creative artist embraced the darker side of glam.
Last Thursday, the pop singer hosted a collaborative event with Dom Pérignon at the Sheats-Goldstein Residence to commemorate the release of her limited-edition Rosé Vintage 2008 bottle. In a custom-made black midi-dress from her sister Natali Germanotta’s clothing company, Topo Studio, Gaga went all goth for the occasion. The dress had a big silk bow embellishment that looped across the shoulders and fastened in the back, a velvet bodice, an off-the-shoulder and a plunging neckline.
The look was cyber punk meets scruffy Hollywood pin-up, with her foundation purposefully two tones lighter, thick eye makeup, and separated hair into antennae tendrils. She wore leather elbow-length gloves, too.
In addition to serving as the event’s host, Gaga also took a turn behind the turntables, spinning tracks including her own The Fame b-side “Money Honey” and Beyoncé’s Renaissance single “Pure/Honey.”
While the multi-hyphenate spent this past summer performing on her much awaited Chromatica Ball tour, she will soon start filming Todd Phillips’s Joker sequel. Gaga revealed in August of last year that she has joined the Joker: Folie à Deux ensemble as the renowned anti-heroine Harley Quinn. The movie is on schedule to start shooting in December, according to Deadline.
