This week, Kylie Jenner reinterpreted Marilyn Monroe’s iconic look in a very Kylie-like manner.
Yesterday, the beauty tycoon published an Instagram photo promoting her new lip kits. It featured two pictures of Jenner sporting the Marilyn Monroe-inspired style (not sister Kim Kardashian’s contentious Met Gala Monroe gown, but, certainly, a reinterpretation of the actress’ enduring white outfits and glossy Hollywood curls).
In the first, a glammed-up Jenner can be seen wearing a skintight, silky white dress with a ruched bust, a built-in corset, and thick straps that transform into thin ribbons that drape over the back. She seems to be in a changing area.
She has gorgeous curls in her hair, and her makeup is exquisite and pink.
In the second picture, Jenner is pictured on the set of a photo shoot she held to advertise her new Kylie Cosmetics line. She stands in front of a warm beige backdrop and looks directly into the camera while she applies a thin layer of one of her pink glosses.
