With roles in films like The Wedding Planner and Maid in Manhattan, Jennifer Lopez has a plethora of expertise playing in rom coms. But when it comes to her appearance, the diva frequently chooses timeless shapes with seductive details. But her most recent costume looks like it came right out of a romantic comedy.
The actress, styled by Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, donned a Magda Butrym body-con midi dress in bubblegum pink. The mock-neck silhouette and side ruching of the form-fitting dress, which also had huge rosettes adorning the collar, embraced the newest red-carpet style.
She completed the ensemble with a coordinating pink leather trench coat, also by Magda Butrym, and strapless sandals in natural hues. A pink leather Coach shoulder bag, thick gold bracelet, dangling gold earrings, and several rings were among the accessories.
Tom Bachik’s manicured nails and J.Lo’s makeup, which included her lips, eyes, and cheeks, were also petal pink. She styled her caramel hair in an updo with bits in the front that framed her face.
Earlier this week the trailer for Prime Video’s Shotgun Wedding was unveiled, and based on how it appears, it won’t be your typical rom-com.
“In Shotgun Wedding, Darcy (Lopez) and Tom (Josh Duhamel) gather their lovable-but-very-opinionated families for the ultimate destination wedding, just as the couple begin to get cold feet,” the studio says of the film. “And if that wasn’t enough of a threat to the celebration, suddenly everyone’s lives are in danger when the entire party is taken hostage.”
