Dua Lipa’s It-girl style has arrived in New York.
The pop diva made a statement in a cobalt blue leather trench coat when she arrived at the 36th annual Footwear News Achievement Awards last night. She wore the accessory—which was featured on the Luar spring 2023 runway—over a voluminous black dress with a triangular cutout above the breast. Her black clunky sneakers from her partnership with Puma completed the look.
A blue fuzzy heart-shaped purse with silver spikes on the edges and pearl earrings from Rainbow K were accessories.
In July, the “Don’t Start Now” singer debuted her second line with the world-famous shoe company, dubbed Flutur 2. Matching co-ord sets, velour tank dresses, athletic miniskirts, color-blocked bowling bags, and clunky platform shoes were among the line’s wide selection of items for the athleisure set.
Lipa was heavily involved in the Flutur 2 advertising campaign, appearing with her dancers and wearing the clothing created in partnership. The photographs were taken by New Jersey-born photographer Jordan Hemingway and were inspired by classic rave fashion, showcasing a brilliant color scheme and holographic accents. A butterfly lettermark Lipa saw on rave fliers served as another important element for the collection.
