Dakota Johnson’s own style is as varied as it gets. The actor’s wardrobe is packed with one-of-a-kind statement pieces, from black Saint Laurent sequins on the red carpet to stunning in a feathery pink Gucci gown at this year’s Vanity Fair Oscars party. Dakota, on the other hand, appreciates a well-made suit. So much so that she recently wore two precision-cut ensembles in the span of a single day, both of which were a little too sultry.
Patou’s louche black suit, which had a double-breasted blazer and fitted wide-leg trousers. Johnson completed her ensemble with black Jimmy Choo sandals, black square-frame sunglasses, and circular Patou brass earrings.
Later that day, the actor wore another stunning tailored ensemble at the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of her film Cha Cha Real Smooth. Johnson wore a white single-breasted blazer dress by New York-based label Area with an open-back chainmail style, so no trousers were required. Dakota finished the look with a black Jackie 1961 Gucci purse and translucent pumps.
