Bell-bottoms are making a comeback, but with a contemporary twist, thanks to Dakota Johnson.
The actress was photographed by paparazzi earlier this week while wearing a 1970s-inspired outfit while out and about in Los Angeles. A flared blue pair of jeans with a lighter wash, a comfortable cropped gray turtleneck sweater, a denim chore jacket with a caramel brown collar, and substantial heeled black boots were all part of the throwback denim-on-denim ensemble. She wore amber-tinted aviator sunglasses as accessories to keep with the ’70s vibe, but it was her Gucci bag that got our attention.
She added an effective, if perhaps anachronistic element to her otherwise nostalgic look with the black shoulder bag with its shamrock-green strap and scores of sharp silver studs.
The star most recently attracted attention at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival with yet another denim-on-denim ensemble. Johnson looked stunning for the festival’s opening in an outfit by Magda Butrym that included a strapless denim corset, a long denim coat, and billowing tapered trousers.
