In Santa Monica this week, Cindy Crawford offered a sophisticated spin on the classic denim and tee. She sported flared bootcut jeans, a graphic tee with the word “love” across the chest, block heels, a jacket, and a black leather bag slung over her shoulder.
Although her 5ft 9″ stature doesn’t require much additional height, her kicky cut and high-rise waistband of her jeans lengthened her legs, and the tucked-in top and shoes made sure her ensemble didn’t look droopy.
Cindy is right on trend because bootcut jeans are in. When she wore flared jeans and a velvet blazer to fashion week the previous year, fellow powerhouse Kate Moss served as a timely reminder of the timeless allure of vintage denim.
