The insanely popular K-pop girl group’s Lisa, Jisoo, Jennie, and Rosé have made their dramatic entrance at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards. The four members wore identical all-black ensembles as they gracefully walked the red carpet.

Lisa wore a flowing black Celine dress with a sweetheart neckline and an abdominal triangle cutout that made her look chic. She wore a long gold chain necklace, bangles, and a pair of elegant, strappy black heels as her only accessories.

Jisoo made a classic spaghetti-strap maxi dress with a black lace bustier and a black skirt with a dark floral overlay her outfit of choice. She chose to wear pointed heels.

Jennie added a sensual twist to the all-one color scheme by donning a matching maxi skirt with a V-shaped waist and halter crop top. Pumps were the last touch for her outfit.

Last but not least, Rosé donned a tiny black dress with flowing accents around the waist and long sleeves, mock turtleneck, and other features. Black pumps were on her as well.

The group is competing tonight for two awards: Best Metaverse Performance and Group of the Year. As the first K-pop girl group to ever perform at the VMAs, they’re also anticipated to make history tonight. In a 2020 interview with, Blackpink expressed their appreciation for their Blinks followers.

“All the records are the results of our fans, BLINKs, and their unconditional support,” Jennie said. “Every day we try to acknowledge how grateful we are, but more than the pressure, we are ready to give them back as much as they gave us. It just gives us more motivation to go further than we ever dreamed of.”
