Beyoncé and Jay-Z have made it a habit to attend the Wearable Art Gala, an annual fundraiser organized by Tina Knowles-Lawson and Richard Lawson to assist the WACO Theater’s youth mentoring initiatives. Beyoncé has previously donned provocative outfits like a glittering Falguni Shane Peacock gown or a 2019 Georges Hobeika catsuit that payed homage to The Lion King. However, the theme for this year’s gala was “Harlem Nights,” which celebrated clothes from the 1920s through the 1950s. Of course, Beyoncé nailed the dress code.

Bey’s chic appearance blended pin-up glamor with a little Texas accent. The actress’s bespoke Gucci gown had a black satin bodice, an extra-long feathery train, and her preferred body-hugging style. The strapless dress’s breast was embellished with black and white sequins and two silver stars to resemble the Texas flag. She wore hot pink satin opera gloves from the Italian label that had large cuffs at the forearm to fit with the gown.

Her accessories featured a pair of Lorraine Schwartz chandelier diamond earrings. The “Cuff It” singer’s honey-brunette hair was done in voluminous curls that trailed down her back. Beyonce also wore a pair of traditional black cat-eye sunglasses and carried a special Dolce & Gabbana purse in photos posted on Instagram.
