The Matrix appears to have influenced Bella Hadid‘s choice of fall wardrobe. The supermodel showcased an edgy all-black ensemble as she attended Burberry’s spring/summer 2023 aftershow party in London on the 26th.
Hadid remained warm by wearing a long, black leather trench coat over a clean, white collared shirt. With a glittering black tie, she quite literally completed the ensemble. This unusual item may make you think of English school uniforms or the movie Men in Black. She chose black leather pointed knee-high boots as her footwear. Other accessories were a square shoulder bag in black, a lot of hefty rings, a pair of sunglasses with forest green frames, and silver hoops.
Marc Kalman, an art dealer, who is the model’s boyfriend, attended the event with her and was dressed in a complementary color. He had a dark-brown slouchy pair of slacks, a jacket made of black leather, and Doc Marten oxford shoes.
Other A-listers at the event included Normani, Naomi Campbell and a host of others.
While Naomi Campbell, Normani, and Stormzy demonstrated the range of Tisci’s creativity, Bella’s hard-edged appearance demonstrated how far the designer has pushed the boundaries of Burberry’s outerwear DNA. After a significant day that caused him to think, The Twenty Two was like a tour of Tisci’s biggest hits, from the pretty-meets-punk nightwear-cum-eveningwear to the classic check pieces and eye-catching utility jackets.
