Aside from their similarity in looks, Apple Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow share a number of other traits. Martin seems to have her mother’s love of fashion and, to top it off, has a front-row ticket for Fashion Week. The Paltrow-Chris Martin daughter was present at the Chanel Haute Couture Spring 2023 runway presentation on Monday in Paris. She not only resembled her well-known mother in every way, but the event also supported one of Karl Lagerfeld’s predictions.

Apple’s look was reminiscent of early front row outings of her mother, Gwyneth, who visited Chanel shows during Karl Lagerfeld’s reign. She wore a checkered minidress and a matching cardigan, both realised in Chanel’s distinctive bouclé tweed, worn with sophisticated shoes and a mini flap bag.
The 18-year-old wore her mother’s blonde hair in a middle parting and added a punk edge to the look with thick kohl eyeliner, which recalled Gwyneth’s outfit for the Oscars in 2002.
