For the Super Mario Premiere, Anya Taylor-joy channeled Princess peach who she portrays in the film on the red carpet. Ditching the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom synonymous look, Anya opted for a head-to-toe pink leather jumpsuit–highlighting the change in Peaches character in the action ready movie.
The sporty Dior jumpsuit nodded to Peach’s signature hue including her accessories. She wore it with a pair of similar motorcycle gloves, and even brighter pink knee-high boots with hefty heels. Complete with dark pink lipstick and smoky dark eye shadow.
Peach made her debut as an NPC in Super Mario Bros. (1985). However this is the second installment of a Mario Bros Live action set after after the critical and commercial failure of the 1993 live-action Mario film. For Anya, the role has turned her into an avid video game player. She tells the Modern Luxury San Diego “So now I am a gamer, and it’s really fun,” she said. “Ideally, I like playing at arcades, because, again, it’s like cinema; I love the ceremony. I’ll go with a whole bunch of friends. And we’ll just spend hours at the arcade.”
