In a post-fashion makeover, Anne Hathaway channeled Andy Sachs at the Berlin International Film Festival on Thursday.
On her first day in Germany, the actress unveiled not one but two stylish all-black ensembles. Styled by Erin Walsh, Hathaway opted for Alaïa designer Pieter Mulier’s hooded long-sleeve dress with a ruched leather waistline, punctuated with a silver zip-up detail, for her first outfit. Paired with black strappy heels with a sculptural golden heel, Hathaway chose minimal glam with a smooth blowout, rosy makeup that was natural, and a raspberry lip. She accessorized simply with gold jewelry.
The glitz was all in Hathaway’s second appearance. The actress looked stunning at a public outing at the Berlinale’s opening ceremony in a sheer black dress with sheer polka-dot lace and leather knots that was taken directly off the Valentino Couture spring/summer 2023 runway. She gave the elegant look a rocker twist by wearing a pair of leather opera gloves, and she completed the ensemble with silky black pointed-toe shoes with little bows on the backs.
She chose a glam variation of her renowned The Devil Wears Prada hairstyle, which featured a top bun with blown-out bangs and wavy strands framing her face. She had pink, natural makeup on and kohl eyeliner.
