This week, Anne Hathaway was photographed in the French city. Though she probably saved a more glitzy look for the front row, her casual off-duty appearance was nonetheless quite stylish. She resurrected a divisive Y2K look that she had worn when playing Andy Sachs in The Devil Wears Prada – newsboy cap. The pageboy cap was popularized in the 2000s by celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, and Gwen Stefani.

The actress sported a pair of wide-leg jeans, a white jumper, and a blue wool coat, demonstrating that timeless classics paired with fashion-forward accessories are essential to the French girl style. Hathaway completed her look with a funky pair of metallic western-style boots, a large shoulder purse, and rectangular sunglasses. She kept her long brown hair straight and simple.

The actress has been on the move, from the Sundance Film Festival in Salt Lake City, Utah, to attend the premiere of her next thriller-comedy, Eileen, to Paris for haute couture week.
