Anne Hathaway takes a lot of fashion inspiration from past roles. Consider her debut at New York Fashion Week in the fall of last year, where she resembled Andy Sachs from her role in the movie The Devil Wears Prada to the letter. Now, the actress is carrying on the tradition during Paris Fashion Week by dressing as what might be her high fashion Catwoman character.

The Devil Wears Prada actress wore a shimmering sequined costume created by the Italian luxury brand to last week’s haute couture fashion show in Paris. The ensemble included a strappy minidress covered in a sequined leopard print and matching embroidered leggings.

The Valentino Garavani Loco purse and even more leopard print high-heeled heels from the pre-fall 2023 collection were her choice for matching shoes and accessories. She wore a few shimmering rings, a stack of gold and diamond bracelets, and a pair of diamond chandelier earrings from Bulgari Serpenti, letting the maximalist couture pieces take center stage.

Anne kept her make-up to a minimum, wearing just a hint of brown eyeshadow, and styled her brown, chest-length hair in gentle waves with a side part. Adam Shulman, who accompanied the actress on the occasion, was dressed in a long gray coat draped over a black turtleneck sweater.

The Eileen actress has had a stylish beginning to the year. Hathaway arrived in Paris before the Valentino show and looked effortlessly chic in a navy blue double-breasted coat and high-waisted wide-leg trousers, both by Valentino. She accessorized the outfit with a white knit sweater, a newsboy cap, a pair of Tory Burch metallic silver cowboy boots, and a Valentino tote bag.
