Buckingham Palace has published fresh photos of the King and Queen Consort in the royal residence’s Blue Drawing Room ahead of the Coronation. But in a refreshing break from tradition, Buckingham Palace revealed details about the Windsors’ clothes and jewelry. If you can recall – in June 2022, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge unveiled their first official photograph together, yet Kate’s Vampire’s Wife Falconetti dress wasn’t mentioned. This time while the Queen Consort went for a blue wool crepe coat dress by British couturier Fiona Clare, Charles opted for a suit by Anderson & Sheppard and a shirt from royal suppliers Turnbull & Asser. She accessorized the ensemble with a pair of late Queen Elizabeth II’s earrings as a symbolic move.

In the first picture, the pair is seen standing next to a painted portrait of King George V. The other two images depict Charles reclining on King George IV’s 1829 silk armchair and Camilla in an earlier 1812 silk long-seated armchair.
