The 2024 Venice Film Festival marked the end of a quiet summer with celebrity glamour like Winona Ryder, Jenna Ortega, Monica Bellucci, and now Taylor Russell.
Taylor—a jury member at the Venice Film Festival, soon after touching down in Italy wore a vintage look from John Galliano’s “Pin Up” collection. Styled by Rihanna’s Jahleel Weaver, the houndstooth set, featured a sharp-shouldered blazer and matching calf-length skirt.
Originally worn by Yasmeen Ghauri on the runway with a leopard-print belt, beret, and netted veil, Russell updated it with Saint Laurent lace-up mesh heels and slim black sunglasses for a 2024 look.
Later in the evening, Russell arrived on the red carpet in a stunning, partly sheer design from Chanel’s spring/summer 1993 couture collection. The design originally seen on Claudia Schiffer’s catwalk featured a clear PVC bust, corset with floral detail, an exaggerated puffball mini skirt, and a long white slinky skirt—accessorizing with Tiffany & Co earrings and white heeled pumps.
