Taylor Russell made her grand debut at the Met Gala in New York, wearing a wooden turtleneck bodice sculpted to her torso from Loewe. Russell’s trompe l’oeil corset was custom-molded to her body and printed with a wood pattern using hydro sublimation, a technique the brand previously used for spring/summer 2023.

The piece, which sank into a white skirt with an ethereal train, featured a glossy stain and hand-painted illustrations of birds and plants which was in line with “Garden of Time”dress code.

This being Russell’s first ever MET, the star has had a long working relationship with Loewe, gaining fame as Jonathan Anderson’s muse after opening the brand’s Paris show in 2023. She has since earned a global ambassador title and a campaign.
