Sweeney, Variety’s August 2023 cover star, wore a sultry peplum silhouette at the Power of Young Hollywood event in Los Angeles last week thursday. The Alexander McQueen all-leather ensemble featured a plunging bustier corset top, a cinched structured peplum waist, and a high front slit with an exposed zipper. She paired it with black pointed-toe pumps with metal detailing, rings, and diamond-encrusted ear climbers.
Despite her edgier takes on the red carpet, Sweeney recently recently channeled her inner younger Swift-like style at Taylor Swift’s “Eras” tour. Spotted at Taylor’s LA gig, the actress opted for a bedazzled jean skirt and white crop top, reminiscent of Swift’s off duty look which has become a source of fashion inspiration for both celebs and normcore fans.
