Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty & Fenty Skin Expands To Africa

Rihanna’s beauty empire is slowly but steadily taking over the world. On Tuesday (May 10) the business entrepreneur announced the launch of Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin in Africa, the world’s second-largest continent and home to more than a billion people via social media.

“I’ve been waiting for this moment!” she wrote in a tweet, captioning a quartet of photos. “@fentybeauty & @fentyskin are finally dropping in AFRICA!!! Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe…we comin at ya May 27th and that’s just the beginning!!!”

The announcement was also posted on the official Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin Instagram feeds, which wrote: “The wait is finally OVA!!! AFRICA – we pullin up! Who ready?! We’ve been workin hard to make this happen! We’ll be available in Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Namibia, Botswana, Ghana, Zambia, and Zimbabwe local retailers starting MAY 27!”

Fenty Beauty was founded by Rihanna in 2017 with the goal of creating products for people of all skin tones. It was only recently available for purchase in Ulta stores in February. According to the Fenty Beauty website, it was already available in Sephora outlets in the United States, Canada, Mexico, France, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Thailand, Malaysia, Australia, Singapore, and the Middle East, as well as online for shipment to more than 150 countries.
