Rihanna’s latest winter white wardrobe, as always, flips the script on traditional winter fashion—you know the old rule about not wearing white after Labor Day? She doesn’t care.
She embraced the monochromatic look at the Footwear News Achievement Awards on Wednesday. Styled by Jahleel Weaver, the mogul looked stunning custom gown from Alaïa. She paired the dress with a high center leg slit, revealing her strappy Manolo Blahnik sandals. Rihanna also accessorized with pearl-encrusted jewelry from luxury sources like Chrome Hearts, Jacob & Co., and Van Cleef & Arpels. Her glam, of course, was all Fenty Beauty, for her hairstyle, the “Love on the Brain” singer opted for a bold Y2K-inspired updo with blunt bangs.
This year, Rocky snagged the Best Collaboration award for his partnership with Puma. Posing side by side with Rih, he looked sharp in a black leather jacket with a cream fur collar, teamed up with black pants and square-toe leather loafers. To elevate his style, he added black sunglasses and a brown leather belt featuring an oversized “LORE” buckle with silver accents.
“It feels incredible, I’m so proud,” she said in a red carpet interview with WWD. “He’s been influencing the fashion world culturally for a very long time, and to see him being honored for it, it’s something that I can’t even put into words how proud I am. He deserves it, and it’s about time.”
