With many Nigerian A-list celebrities turning towards high fashion – Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage is the latest to join the growing list.
For a stop at the Ghanian apple music studios, the star stole the show with a toned torso. The tight torso, however, was not hers’ ; rather, it was a printed tank created by Glenn Martens for Y/Project and Jean Paul Gaultier that featured a modernized version of the designer’s renowned body-illusion graphics from spring 1996.
Anything but boring, Tiwa paired the tank with an assymetrical skirt from MMAKAMBA. She accessorized with silver balenciaga boots, large silver hoops and a hermes clutch bag.
Since its runway debut, Y/Project x Jean Paul Gaultier has had the fashion world drooling for its arrival, deeming its Body Morph dresses and manly shirts to be not just desires but actual season must-haves. Last year November, rapper A$ap Rocky donned his cargo shorts, a bucket hat and velcro sneakers during his Beenie Man performance in Barbados with Rihanna.
