For Natalie Portman, the renowned actress, appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to promote her latest film, May December, wearing a sleek, thigh-skimming LBD with a cinched waist and black high-heel sandals. The dress featured a structured corseted bodice and a bulbous miniskirt, accenting the hourglass frame. It brought to mind a dress worn over a black bra with built-in triangle bralettes made of black mesh cups and lace. Portman paired strappy black sandals with a red mani-pedi, black liner, red lip, pink blush, and straight hair for a simple yet elegant look.
Comparing the fit to Portman’s, Johansson take on the trend included a pink strapless structured Prada dress, with a white bra visible out from beneath her bubblegum dress, while Sweeney wore a flowing baby blue spaghetti strap Miu Miu dress with underwire demi cups and a darker, sky blue bra peeking out from underneath.
Still on dresses, at the 2024 Golden Globes, Portman wore a white custom Dior dress, covered in tiny star-shaped sequins in shades of white, purple, yellow, blue, and green. The spaghetti-strap, scoop-neck dress created a dreamy field of flowers. Portman paired it with Jimmy Choo heels and silver teardrop earrings from De Beers.
