Wes Anderson’s new film Asteroid City premiered in New York City last night, with stars such as Margot Robbie, Bryan Cranston, Tom Hanks and Scarlett Johansson making cameos on the glitzy red carpet. One of the highlights of the night was Maya Hawke’s unexpected accessory on the red-carpet.
Hawke made a quirky fashion statement with a sequined Prada dress and a bejeweled swimming cap. While it’s not everyday you’d see the accessory on the red carpet, the look brought to mind Amber Heard’s look at the London premiere of Aquaman, where she wore Valentino couture with a matching headpiece.
Unlike Amber, Hawke chose for no extra accessories, centering all attention on her bejeweled silhouette. For makeup, she went for a dramatic baby blue eyeshadow.
